The first sea rail intermodal shipment of small household appliances for the Harbin Russia freight train has been successfully shipped

On January 1st, a freight train carrying 10 containers of small household appliances departed from Harbin International Container Center Station and will depart from the Manzhouli Port in China to Moscow, Russia. This is the first time that Heilongjiang Provincial Transportation Investment Group has adopted a sales based procurement and integrated material and trade model to transport small household appliances for export. It is also the first time that the group has used the independently developed "Longmao Tong" China Russia International Material and Trade Comprehensive Service Platform to coordinate online and offline resources, and to use sea, road, and rail multimodal transportation to ship the first small household appliance export trade.

The value of small household appliances transported by this train is 4.54 million yuan, which is a vivid practice of the "Longmao Tong" platform utilizing the one-stop comprehensive service capabilities of the entire foreign comprehensive service chain to promote the transformation and development of traditional trade towards a new integrated model of "trade+logistics+customs declaration", providing a new idea of material and trade integration for the export trade of small household appliances in Heilongjiang Province.

Since its launch and trial operation on July 30, 2023, it has formed a complementary and healthy development pattern of "transportation leads trade, and trade promotes transportation" industries through the digital platform economy. At present, the official version of "Longmao Tong" platform v1.0 and the Russian beta version have been officially launched and put into operation on December 30, 2023. Next, the "Longmao Tong" platform will utilize its resource integration capabilities, deepen regional linkage, improve the level of comprehensive services for foreign countries, and open up the "main artery" of domestic and international trade channels.
