According to the Central Meteorological Observatory, from December 14th to 17th, a cold wave will affect most of China, with temperatures in the central and eastern regions dropping by 8-12 ℃, and some areas in the eastern northwest, northern China, and southern northeast regions experiencing temperatures of over 14 ℃.

The coldness in the south is a "magical attack", fully reflected in Meituan's takeout data. Data shows that since December, the order volume of electric heaters such as Electric Oil Ting and Little Sun has increased by 112% month on month. The top five cities in terms of order volume are all located in the south, namely Changsha, Chengdu, Kunming, Chongqing, and Guiyang.

The heating in the north is turned on more fully, highlighting the problem of dryness. According to Meituan takeout data, the order volume of humidifiers increased by 133% month on month, with the top five cities in terms of order volume being Beijing, Xi'an, Shanghai, Zhengzhou, and Jinan, with northern cities occupying four seats.

According to the person in charge of Meituan's flash purchase of digital home appliances, in order to better meet consumers' real-time heating needs, the "Warm Winter Good Things" campaign was launched from December 8th to December 24th. Consumers can receive up to 99 yuan of coupons when purchasing heating small home appliances.

With more and more merchants entering, instant retail is showing a trend of prosperity across all categories. Taking small household appliances for heating as an example, among the best-selling small household appliances this year, in addition to traditional electric oil heaters and small suns, sales of segmented heating equipment such as baseboard heaters, water heaters, and foot warmers have also grown rapidly.
